Would you like to learn about your connection to a God that is Divine Love? A God that doesn’t judge or condemn anyone?

The word ‘agape’ is the word used in the Bible to express God’s unconditional love. It’s a love that isn’t dependent on how you perform in school, on how much you donate to charity, on what your profession or hobbies are, on what your family is like, or on how moral a life you live. Unconditional means that – without condition. God loves you no matter what because God IS Love.

As God’s children, this unconditional love is what we work to accept for ourselves, and to express to others. In the Bible, Jesus teaches us not only do we need to love our neighbors, but we also need to love our enemies. In practical ways that means – as Jesus says – “bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” that you might “be perfect even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”

Hopefully this love that we extend to all our neighbors is what you’ll feel when you come to our church services or visit our Reading Room. We pray that this love – extended especially to those that seem to be enemies – helps the world to see each other as part of one beloved family.
